AVOID THESE AND GET A REAL ECIGARETTE!

The Fifty-One Trio is basically pretty crappy. Plain & simple. Check any of the reliable, unbiased review sites from vaping enthusiasts and this company doesn't even register in the top 10... or 20 for that matter.

All in all, this company has done more harm than good. It makes me wonder how many people have tried these lame, under powered, over priced units and dismissed ALL ecigs as gimmicks because of them.

The amount of vapor is weak. You don't really get much at all. Kind of like smoking 1/10th of an ultra light. It just makes you want a real cigarette.

The flavor is alright... for a few puffs. The first few taste like plastic. Then you'll get a few luke-warm "teaser" puffs. Then... burnt plastic.

The carts don't... didn't last long at all and I used to refill mine constantly... ... View full review

My aunt was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in oct 2010... the day we were told it was cancer we quit and ordered our smoke51 duo... took a couple of weeks to come and i thought i would die with all the stress that was going on with my aunt. We lost her in March 2011... My husband and i have been using it every since! a box of 5 will last us months because we have gotten to only use it socially. This product has helped us to no longer smoke around or smell bad around our 5 young kids. we quit before turning 30 and because of this product our lives will be saved. We had some problems at first but took it in to the local mall to the stand and they replaced the battery for free and showed us how to properly use it. We have replaced the battery 3 or 4 times and about to take one of the up there again because I keep washing them in ... View full review

Cigarette wasted half of my saving until I saw the people in the mall smoking them.
I want to quit smoking and buy the Electronic Cigarette. I started my new life with the E-Cigarette yesterday. Excellent products.
I like the taste as well and the cartridges always line up correctly with the batteries.
I love this E-Cigarette and feel it satisfies my cravings.
I have two kids in their early teens. I want to see them graduate high school.
My clothes and hair don't smell. I'm not offending people and I'm not coughing.
It actually help me stop smoking because I have no smoked an actual cigarette today. I'm so proud of myself.
I would recommend this product to anyone who really wants to quit.

Local gas station has these 1 bat trio starter sets for $39 so figured why not.
Havent had as much issues with battery as i have seen on comments but they dont last as long as you would like I would req having at least 2 so you can have one while charging the other.
Vapor is fine last about a day not 2 as 2 packs would. Taste of vapor is nothing like a cig might be good but is what kills it for me .
but at $39 and $5 for refills is a great alt. Inside my house nad where I cant smoke in public.

Excellent product I am a millionaire many times over and I have bought every single e cig they have on the net. This one, white cloud and totally wicked are the best by far. My wife is a V-2 fan and that is a good one also. Money is no object with me so I have tried them all. I was a smoker and chewer. Now I am a vaporer. Have not smoked a real cig in a long time. It just sucks Caughing alll the old tar out.

I originally though about buying vapor cigs many times but never acted on it until I saw the people in the mall smoking them - they approached me so I was able to get it for a lower price. I was a little iffy about it at first - all the charging and switching cartridges can be annoying.. but about a month after buying it I got used to it and kept forgetting to buy packs of cigs. After I quit smoking tobacco completely my original battery died and I was still smoking the nasty tobacco flavored cartridges, so I went back to the kiosk where I originally bought it where it was replaced with a brand new better quality model quickly and easily, free of charge and bought some new flavored cartridges. I agree that the product is a little pricey, but so far I have probly had about a 10% return on it from the packs of cigarettes I havent ... View full review

Got to a local smoke shop to make your purchase, I purchased one on-line and had terrible luck but then went to local shop and he set me up and I have been happy since! Definitely not a Marlboro but its been 6 days without one, and that is huge.

Bought one at a local store yesterday. It's a poor design as I have to hold it in a particular way to get any vapor. The menthol cartridges aren't menthol flavored unless you use a dead battery and suck really hard; then you can taste it. No idea what the battery life looks like so far. Main complaints is that I can't get any nicotine out of it, it has increased my cravings, and the closest thing to feeling good is when I go into oxygen debt trying to actually get some nicotine into my system. First e-cig and it's just horrible.
Would never buy again, nor would I suggest it.

I picked one up at a tobacco outlet a few days ago and so far it has worked pretty well. The package says that its tobacco flavored but to me it tastes pretty shitty, but as for trying to quit smoking so far its doing a good job. If you read the instruction booklet it comes with its really not to hard to maintain and operate. Since i havn't had any issues with it i haven't had to contact customer service...from what i've read here tho i hope i never have to.

I had gotten the smokes51 trio as well, it does taste different than a regular cigarette but thought it was a good replacement. The problem was with the auto ship program which was not divulged in the original purchase of this product.I called in July to cancel the "FREE TRIAL" Offer and was assured that it was cancelled. Looke on the credit card bill for the number to contact and the number listed is not correct. If you have to contact them, the number is..1-877-766-5306. GOOD LUCK to any one who has to deal with them over the phone, I was on the phone for over 20 miuntes getting this free trial recancelled. I will be contacting the credit card comapany and requesting a block on this company just to be on the safe side,. First purchase was July of 2011 and got billed in Sept and Oct. I have also found another electronic cigarette that I like even better than the smokes 51 and they are truly easy to deal with and no shipping fees, reasomable cost as well they are E FOXECIG www.efoxecigs.com smoked my last cigarette on July 5th2011 and have been smoking electronics since that date. efoxe so far is the best for me GOOD LUCK to all who switch.

I tried going through the smoke 51 site to get wholesale for my shop! Took forever for someone to get back to me so I went to another wholesaler to buy. The cigs are great though. Sell them in my shop for 40.00 for the big starter kit with the plug in charger (not the usb), battery, and 15 cartridges. The cartridges I got do last for about 1 pack of cigs each cartridge. The battery has lasted about 9 months so far on my own kit . My customers love them! DO NOT order anything on line unless you have done your research!!!

that's what y'all get for buying shit online or at a gas station without trying it first-any reputable smoke shop will let you try before you buy. ever hear the saying if it sounds too good to be true it usually is? go to a smoke shop try out the different ones, and get the one that best suits your tastes. also, any decent smoke shop will handle the customer service for you if necessary so you only have to deal with someone local. also buying esmokes from a mall kiosk-really? that's the equivilent of buying tires at burger king!! do your research kids and you won't get the proberbial kick in the balls. i have the fifty one trio and i love it-don't mind paying the little extra for the cartridges because they taste better-sad to say but esmokes are just like real smokes in the fact you get what you pay for.

Product only works 20% of the time... and when you need someone from customer service they are lost ... they have no idea how to run a company! Preety sad!! Out of frustration I bought an njoy ecig which is ok, better than the 51... however I did find the premium ecig and that works the best
and they are so nice when I called them on the phone!!! Dont waste your money and if you dont believe me read all the comments online

I saw an add for an E-cigg on this website, clicked on it and was take to a link for a $4.95 'pay only shipping/handling' limited time offer for the 51 Trio E-cig. You know how you sometimes order things online and on the 'order statement/number/tracking confirmation' sheet there is some information about the purchase? Well not for this product. Within a day or two I was getting strange phone calls from an unknown number 3-4-5 times in a row and no voicemail left. 2 days later I finally answered and it was someone from this company confiming my order and wanting to see if i would sign up for some other offer; I said no and asked how come you repeatetly call me without leaving a message if it was so important? The woman didnt have a thing to say.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS!
They lure you in with a "free" trial for which they claim you only pay shipping and handling and lasts 30 days. The so-called "free" trial is actually 14 days and begins the day they ship. You practically have to turn around and send it back the same day you received it to return it to them in time if you don't like it. And here is the big catch, if you don't return it, they automatically charge you $109.67 (compare the wimpy kit they give you with anything else on the market for that price and you can tell its a scam) and sign you up for a subscription service which sends you new product (at ridiculously expensive rates) every two weeks. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT IN THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THEY WILL NOT EMAIL YOU THIS INFORMATION. I got burned for nearly $170.00. I called them and threatened to file a ... View full review

Bought the DUO at a local mall for$ 180. First battery failed in one hour, replacement and second unit failed in one day. Was given no verbal or written instructions. After 3 trips back to store called main company- located in Ft Lauderdale- and local franchise owner to complain. Offered no restitution and were rude. Do not buy from kiosks at Vero Beach or Melbourne Malls as staff is unprofessional even though manager Chase Spencer has" an MBA from the University of Florida". (NOT impressed) THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, DO NOT BUY. I will continue to encourage my patients to try e-cigs to quit smoking, just not this brand. Look forward to FDA regulating these as one box of replacement filters had sticker on box states "NOT INTENDED FOR SALE IN THE UNITED STATES."

I started using the 51 duo a year ago. With the first purchase of 50 cartridges to add to the starter kit, a dozen or more were defective. By the time I had used up the first 3 dozen cartridges, the battery refused to charge. I recieved a warranty replacement and purchased a spare battery from a local dealer along with a second case of cartridges. The second case has been more reliable, but battery life is worse yet. With 2 new batteries, I haven't even gotten through the first 5 boxes (25), and I'm noticing one battery will last about 90-120 minutes, while the second lasts for about 3-4 hours. I completely stop smoking when using the 51 duo, but need to have a battery charging constantly or I'm left with nothing in very a short time.

I feel the duo is a good route to go, with none of the problems associated with a seperate ... View full review

I have had my Smoke 51 cigs for 2 weeks now. they are so awesome!! I would almost go as far as to say they are BETTER than regular sigs. You can use them ANYWHERE, in a cab, in the mall, waiting for your table at a restaurant, airport, etc. It comes with a cool card you can hand to people who question you, explaining to them that it's OK for you to be using it at any location so you don't have to sound like a broken record. Smoke 51 has thought of EVERYTHING!! the cigs are really easy to use and feel very much like "the real thing". My brother used these to quit smoking 3 years ago and has never gone back. So far, I think I'll be able to do the same. I am so excited to be free from that nasty, costly addiction!!

I have 51 duo my filters get dry after i smoke half a day, usualy i smoke 10 cigarettes a day, at the smoke dreams shope a lady sold me a jucie for 14$, she open the robber part of my catridge and dripped some jucie for me, now this litle bottle of e-jucie last me one month for 14$ no need to buy new catridges! the only problem my batteries are discharging fast and dont last all day :(

Bryan commented on June 28 2011:
i recently bought my first one....got a starter pack, juice, and 6 filters for $113.00....not too bad. They have worked out great...no odor...smoked in a bar and freaked people out...haha. the replacement filters (6 of them for $13) are way cheaper than paying $35 for 6 packs of cigarettes....and taste sooo much better. Just takes a while to get use to some of it....vapor goes down...it is either the filter or out of juice. I've experience more problems with juice running out before the filter...only thrown one of those away in 3 days....and I am a pack a day smoker.

Mike commented on June 27 2011:
I ordered the starter kit online, and was soon contacted and told that I was getting additional 'services', I told the salesman I didn't want anything but the E-cig starter kit, when he got abusive I told him to cancel the order... Of course they sent it anyway and I wrote the company about them paying for the return, I haven't gotten any reply after about 2 weeks (last I checked no charge was made against my credit card, though I told them I'd contest the charge anyway)... I was going to just throw it away but decided to try it anyway, thinking maybe their product was better than the service, so I charged it with the included USB device and put a 'filter' on, I was initially pleased with the amount of vapor it produced, though it was rather weak nicotine wise... I used three of the five filters before the USB charger died, one of the filters lasted a day another a few hours another somewhere in between... so now the battery unit is dead and I have two unused filters... I don't trust this outfit or it's product and wouldn't buy from them again...

malena commented on April 10 2011:

Hey Lisa, I recommend you try purchasing your cartridges from www.safesmoke.us I also had the same issue with the dry cartridges but ever since I ordered from this website, the cartridges were amazing. They are the original smoke 51 products.

As many people have stated, when you purchase a box of cartidges, usually only 2 of the 5 work at all. The cartridges are already VERY EXPENSIVE, so if you're only getting 2 good ones out of the box, that almost triples the price. I have two batteries that quit working in 3 weeks and have been trying to get a return authorization, but they don't respond to emails or phone calls. I liked the e-cig when it worked, but it is too unreliable and the customer service is non-existent. I wouldn't recommend the Duo. I've found better and less expensive e-cigs online. I'm using the KR808d-1. Very reliable.

Not a totally bad product considering the threads on this page. I have bought some juice in order to supplement for the constant cartridge dry ups. it seems to work just fine the first couple of draws. Now.... the catch is when the feel of lack of nicotine, give it a slight blow and then drag the vapor. seems to extend the life of the cartridge. the juice alone will last me a month and i am a pack in a half smoker. for those with interest in buying this product try local stores instead of online.

My girlfriend bought me the starter kit that comes in a ciggerette box. It only comes with 1 battery and 1 cartridge. In the begining I really enjoyed it, work well and was easy to hit. After using it all up I ordered refills of there website. Once received the filters looked different in color, My first one had dotted white color on filter like a maraboro red, but the new replacements were a solid orange/brown color. Once I screwed on the filter, I had to suck really hard to get a hit. Before the vapor came through the hole smoothly now it feels like sucking a boba from a small straw. Also the inside of the filter that connects to the battery looks different from the first one i purchased. The older one has a indent in the circle and the new on is just flat in the circle. Customer service does not pick up the phone either.

I think this brand is an absolute rip off compared to the other brands I have tried. Only one battery in the starter kit that I bought works. And I have purchased quite a few bad cartridges. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, unless they just want to throw money out the window. Also, the flavor of the menthol is awful compared to other brands as well. I am traveling, in a semi, so I do not have many options for what brand I purchase, but I really do not want to break down and buy regular cigarettes. I can't wait to get home, I have some ordered and they should be there before me!!

I love the vapor-corp trio 51. I have been regular cigarette free for 7 days. I am 59 years old and have been smoking menthol for 40 years..I am very pleased with the product. I have no problem with the vapor. I am a nurse and I am very happy with mine. Dee

Barbara Matvia commented on May 22 2012:
I ordered the 51 for my husband Richard, it came and he decided he did not like and I have been trying to get shold of the Company Vapor Corp which carged my visa 99.99 for sending me the next shipment which I never recieved. The number on the visa was a # to H&R Block! Now what am I to do. Sounds a little shady to me. Beware of ordering from them. I also ordered from another company and had no problems with them at all. What gives!

Got mine Thursday from the mall, loving it so far. Battery lasted until today and now is charing. Not a problem with the cartridges used the first one from Thursday into Saturday probably about 10 times (my average smoking habit a day) and now on the second one, everything seems to be working fine so far. I did get one dud cartridge but they said to just bring it in and they'll replace it. I don't think its a scam in itself, but I don't generally buy things that don't have a near by REP store if I need one.

Follow up to Previous Reveiw. The Ratings I have given were based on this being the only Ecig I have Treid. But By Far Far Better Results than I expected. I smoked 1 Pack per day of reds as stated b4 and 1 cartridge lasts me about 3/4 of a day. By purchasing E Juice, You can make them last a little longer. I try not to refill more than once per Cart.

I've been using Smoke51 for 6 months now and am very happy for them. The battery life has be great. The long battery last me all day and short ones last about 4 or less hours. The vapor is great and cartridges or one usually last me about a day.

This thing is terrible, I've gone through a whole pack of cartridges in a single day before and I've had this thing for about three weeks now. Easily the worst investment I've ever made. I've tried blu and red dragon and they are much much better.

EC Distribution the same company that distributes Smoking Anywhere products. Everything this company sells is a scam and thier products are crap. Research the company before you buy any product. BBB is a great place to look, real reviews and no BS.

I liked them at first. I bought two and haven't had a real cigarette since February (now June) but now neither of them will hold a charge and no one responded to my e-mail about how long they're supposed to last. Have had several dud cartridges.

Overall good b/c I've not had a REAL cig since purchased aprx 2mo. BEWARE: don't be fooled-1 cartridge doesn't = what's advertised, really = aprx 6 cigs & EVERY time I buy new pack of cartridges at least 1 in new pack doesn't work. Gets VERY pricey!

I bought this product locally. It is great - I like the flavors, the amount of smoke, and the equipment seems very sturdy. Down side is that a cartridge lasts for about one day if you only smoke 3 or 4 times a day.

Began using Duo 3/16/2010. Had battery fail and called customer service. (took a while) Person was helpful, polite & said to return to store where I bought them for free exchange. I did, and it was free! I have not had a cigarette since I started!

My husband bought a starter pack with 2 batteries. I use one and he has the other wich makes it easier to get started. We love them. I was able to quit smoking in less than a week and he has gone from 3 packs a day to about 1.5 a day. Well worth it.

I bought my Starter kit from a local smoke shop. I love the product so far. The cartridges that came with the kit seemed pretty dry but the vanilla ones I bought were awesome!! Only bought it yesterday, so I'll write more about it later.

No way to contact them. They don't tell you your "free" trial comes with automatic shipments of refills, and you don't get 30 days, as they start shipping refills in 14 days.

29 days to get. But charged the 89.95 7 days after mailed, emailed, got a reply asking for 24-72 hours. Disappointed, weak vapor only 50% of the time, cartridges equal to 6-7 cigarettes, some not full. Returning, feel I will get a refund.

I've tried several e-cigs & this is my fave so far. The cartridges last me all day & the long battery lasts about 8 hours. The vapor is plentiful at the early use of a cartridge but declines as it's used. I quit smoking in less than 1 week with this!

I got my 51 about a month ago and I have been tobacco-free since. I tried quitting a few times before but failed. Tried patches but never succeeded. I love the fact that I can continue with the physical aspects of smoking and satisfy my cravings.
