|A. from North Las Vegas, NV reviewed V2 Cigs model 'Traveler Starter Kit' on June 29 2011:|
OverallI've been smoking for about 10 years. I'm a light smoker, about two packs a week, but with a baby on the way wanted to quit for good. After doing a lot of research I decided to give V2 Cigs a try and am very glad I did. They have multiple options for starter kits and batteries. There are also ten flavors to choose from in varying levels of nicotine.
Value vs. Cost
A couple of weeks ago I went with the Traveler Kit. It included 15 cartomizers, a portable charging case, two batteries (both were manual, black and short, one blue LED and one red LED), a notebook cig and charging accessories. I also bought a sample pack of cartos and another carrying case. Ordered it all on a Monday and received it by Friday.
I am very satisfied with my purchase, great quality stuff at a fair price. Everything was carefully packaged, nothing was missing or damaged. The short batteries are perfectly sized and hold a descent charge. The notebook cig is nice to use while charging your batteries or just to save them. The USB charger, wall adapter and car charger are all handy accessories.
The highlight to me is the portable charging case. It's a durable carrying case that can hold one battery and two cartos, and was able to charge a battery multiple times before needing charging again itself. The additional carrying case can hold two cartos and two batteries, or (like I did) four cartos and one battery. The cartos produce a good deal of vapor and really last. I recommend the sample pack to find what you like. For me it's the Menthol and Cowboy.
The V2 Cig does a great job of simulating smoking and is quite enjoyable. I like the options of nicotine levels, I use zero when I'm just casually vaping and medium when I want a fix. It's been a few days since I had a real smoke and can honestly say I like these better.
