Heather from Tempe, AZ reviewed Volcano e Cig model 'Volcano/Inferno' on January 11 2013:
OverallBeen a Volcano customer for over a year and a half. I started off with the Volcano (mini). I went through 5 charging packs and never got one that worked correctly. CS replaced all of them until I finally gave up and got credit. I used that credit towards purchasing the Inferno model which has worked well for me. I've had a few issues here and there, two bad batteries that had to get replaced, a couple of DOA atomizers, one shipping mix up, but nothing to make me want to jump ship.
Value vs. Cost
Until now. Placed an order on Cyber Monday that was large enough for free USPS shipping. That order never arrived but the tracking number said it was delivered. I submitted a customer service ticket right away asking what I should do. Volcano waited a week to tell me that I needed to submit a claim to USPS.
USPS tells me that since I waited so long to submit a claim that they would have to go by the tracking, the delivery guy swears he delivered the package, but when we ask him about it all he remembers is another package my husband received that same day.
Volcano refused to help, and then deleted my support ticket where I had put all my USPS claim numbers.
I posted on their forum about it and the CS manager told me to submit another ticket, so I did and got the same run around and no explanation as to why my original ticket was deleted.
I'm now stuck in limbo where Volcano will only quote their shipping policy at me and refuses to help because USPS says the package was delivered, and USPS won't budge since the claim was submitted over a week after the package was supposedly delivered. All because the CS in the Volcano shipping department sat on my ticket. This has been one of the worst CS experiences I've ever dealt with.
