OverallAfter research, I decided to purchase a blu ecig Premium starter kit for two reasons: I found on the blu website that a local pharmacy carried their products so I could try a disposable before purchasing the kit, and I liked the idea of their pack being able to recharge the spare battery.
Value vs. Cost
I did purchase a disposable and found the amount of vapor and throat hit acceptable and that I liked the flavor of their Classic Tobacco. I ordered a Premium blu Starter Kit vs Original because it had features that made it easier to track battery status. I had no interest in the social feature, so it didn't factor into my decision.
Shipping was prompt. I ordered Thursday evening and it arrived on Monday. I found that the ecigs in the kit were MUCH smaller than the disposables.
I charged the batteries and pack and immediately discovered that the amount of vapor and throat hit were unacceptable to me. Production was far less than I had with the disposable. I was puffing so often that the cartridges were getting hot on my lips and I was draining both batteries before the first one would be recharged. This happened with all carts, so it wasn't a flaw with one particular cartridge.
Battery life wasn't good. I estimate that I MIGHT have gotten 10-15 minutes out of a charge. But, I was hitting them pretty hard so battery life might be better for others. On the other hand, I have no complaints on the life of the cartridges themselves. One would last me all day without running dry.
The pack didn't charge the spare battery consistently. When it is charging the spare, you see some orange LEDs flashing on the side. I had difficulties getting the pack to actually charge the spare. If the orange light isn't on, it's not charging. I finally just started using the USB charger on both batteries.
So, I can't recommend this kit and plan to return it. The charger isn't reliable and the amount of vapor is just too small for me.

Update to my earlier review: I did return my starter pack. Four days later I received an email from Blu stating they would refund my credit card. Three days later, the credit was posted. Thumbs up for customer service!
